Michelle Cumbie

For nearly two decades, Michelle Cumbie has helped families clarify their goals, understand their risk comfort level, and build investment strategies they can stick with through changing markets. She focuses on a select number of client relationships, taking time to define priorities first, then aligning portfolios and planning work around what matters most in the long term.
Michelle began her advisory career in 2006 and has served coastal South Carolina families ever since, most recently in Murrells Inlet, where she built a relationship-driven practice grounded in consistent communication and accountability. She now brings that experience to Signature Wealth, pairing personal attention with the resources of a broader planning team.
Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts from Southern New Hampshire University and also studied at Horry-Georgetown Technical College, rooting her career and community ties along the Grand Strand.
Dedicated to comprehensive planning, Michelle regularly collaborates with clients’ CPAs, estate attorneys, and insurance professionals to coordinate implementation and keep plans on track year after year. Her clients know her for her calm presence and practical follow-through.
Away from the office, she enjoys Lowcountry life and time with family, often the inspiration behind the legacy plans she helps clients create.
