John Barrier and Lindsay Harrison had an exciting day giving back to the Watagua County community through Habitat for Humanity. They donated their time to help a family in need of a home. On the side of a steep slope, they help paint the inside and outside of the home, preparing it for the family’s eager arrival.
“We got to spend the day working with Habitat for Humanity to help construct a home for a local family in need. I have done this before and love to help, especially building. I laughed because they had us paint all day while I hired a crew at the same time to come paint the outside of my house. I hate to paint! But all in all, we had a great time for a great cause,” John said.
