Thomas Kennedy,
Wealth Advisor, RJFS
How do you empower your clients to live their Signature Life?
I empower our clients to live their Signature Life by first having an open conversation that helps describe their current financial situation and then developing a plan to help them achieve their life goals. Every plan is different but it is my job to make sure that everything from the client’s risk tolerance to each investment is in line with their plan.
What does your life look like outside of the office?
Outside of the office, I get to enjoy doing life with my fiancé McCall and our dog Margo. I enjoy going to the beach, fishing, and going to college football games. I also serve as the secretary of the Eastern Carolina Community Foundation Board and I am an active member of the Florence Kiwanis group. I am a past graduate of Leadership Hartsville and Leadership Florence.
What can you tell us about your professional journey?
After graduating from The Citadel in 2014 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, I pursued a job as a credit analyst with First Palmetto Bank, which has over 20 locations across the state of South Carolina. Since then, I have worked in Anti-Money Laundering and advisory consulting at Price Waterhouse Coopers and most recently worked at Moore Beauston Woodham as both a tax and audit staff accountant. As a Wealth Advisor, I have successfully passed my Series 7 and Series 66 exams and am currently working towards my CPA license.
Neither Raymond James Financial Services nor any Raymond James Financial Advisor renders advice on tax issues, these matters should be discussed with the appropriate professional.
