Susan Hudgins

Susie started her career in banking before transitioning into the field of accounting. Her roles have ranged from management to administrative positions, with a particular focus on small business accounting and tax matters. In 1994, she worked in the corporate accounting division of a local manufacturing company. There, she played a crucial role in implementing a new payroll system, overseeing payroll for a workforce of 250+ employees, and conducting critical inventory control audits throughout the year. In 1997, she began working with IFG/Russell and Richard “Dick” Megorden. When Dick sought to increase the value proposition of his practice by partnering with StoneStreet Wealth Management (now Signature Wealth, Charlotte) Susie was an integral part of this alliance. Additionally, she actively volunteers with Signature Cares' annual holiday sponsorship program in collaboration with Levine Children's Hospital.

Susie is a true Charlotte native, deeply rooted in her community. Her family circle includes her husband, Don, their two children, three granddaughters, and their standard parti poodle, Hope. She and her family love to travel, whether it be going to the beach, visiting the mountains, or taking annual road trips with close friends.
