Emily Thiel

As a founding member of our Signature Wealth High Point team, Emily was instrumental in the set-up of our business as well as purchasing, renovating, and managing our downtown office. She has extensive business background in advertising sales and management. Additionally, she successfully led several local non-profit organizations.

Emily graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in communications. She is responsible for managing our finances, real estate, human resource functions, and team development. She also assists with the day-to-day operation of our practice.

High Point is home to Emily, her husband Matt, and their two teenage children. She is active in the community, touching various non-profits as Helping Hands, Camp Cheerio board and the social committee at the String and Splinter Club. She and a friend have the self-proclaimed titles of Team Moms for the local Atlantic League baseball team, the High Point Rockers, volunteering to assist in the management of the host family program. Emily is a Past President of The Junior League of High Point where she served in multiple other capacities (Membership Chair, Assistant Treasurer, and Treasurer to name a few). She served on the board of the local YWCA, as Assistant Treasurer of Good Friends of High Point, and their children’s school PTOs in various roles.

In her free time, Emily enjoys supporting her children’s extra-curricular activities, the company of friends and family, and adores the affection of their dog, Cotton.
