How do you empower your clients to live their Signature Life?
My primary role at Signature includes assisting the operations of the Charlotte and Mooresville offices and most importantly building relationships and providing the highest level of customer service to meet the needs and expectations of our clients; many of whom I have worked with for over 20 years.
What does your life look like outside of the office?
I am a native of beautiful Charlotte, NC where I currently live with my husband, Don and our 2 standard poodles. My greatest joy is spending time with our two children and their families. I also enjoy vacationing on the NC coast, relaxing on the beach, clamming, fishing, and learning to cook the catch of the day.
What can you tell us about your professional journey?
I began my career in banking as a customer service representative and later pursued a career in accounting, working in management and administrative roles with two local accounting firms specializing in small business accounting including corporate, individual, and partnership tax preparation. In 1994, I accepted a position in the corporate accounting division of a local manufacturing company and was instrumental in implementing a new payroll system, managing payroll for 250+ employees, and traveled with the accounting team to conduct inventory control audits throughout the year. In April 1997, I began working with Richard “Dick” Megorden and when Dick sought to increase the value proposition of his practice by partnering with StoneStreet Wealth Management (now Signature Wealth - Charlotte) I was an integral part of this alliance.
FUN FACT:
May 2019 was Susie’s very first trip to the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world, and she has continually described it as spectacular!
