How do you empower your clients to live their Signature Life?
At Signature, I direct investment strategy for the team and oversee the research and management of individual stocks, bonds and mutual funds.
What does your life look like outside of the office?
I live in Florence with my wife and two children. I am a member and past President of St. Luke Lutheran Church, member and past President of the Florence Rotary Club, and on the board of directors of the Pee Dee Youth Mentors. I am also on the McLeod Hospital Foundation Professional Advisory Committee and the Florence Darlington Technical College Educational Foundation Board. I like to play golf, exercise, and watch Wake Forest sports.
What can you tell us about your professional journey?
I am a cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University School of Business. I received additional training from the College of Financial Planning and am an Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ professional and earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation. I began my career at Southern National Bank. I then joined my father, Bob Mitchell, at First Union Securities for six years.
