How do you empower your clients to live their Signature Life?

"Purpose is an incredible alarm clock." Debra believes that Purpose is what gets you to jump out of bed every morning with a smile on your face, eager to face the day. Throughout her life and career, her own purpose has been to support others and to have a positive impact on their lives. Making a real difference in the lives of her clients by helping them to achieve their financial goals is her passion.

What does your life look like outside of the office?

Debra lives where she works - and she doesn’t take this lightly. Her connection to the Leland community is genuine and deep. She is active in the community serving as a member of the Leland Area Rotary Club; president of Women in Networking – Wilmington Chapter; member of the board of directors of the North Brunswick Chamber of Commerce; member of the board of directors of the Brunswick Community College Foundation and a member of the board of directors for Cape Fear Voices/Teen Scene. She and her husband, Terry, enjoy playing golf, bike riding, and cheering on their beloved NY Yankees.

 

What can you tell us about your professional journey?

Debra began her career as a registered nurse and then progressed into executive roles in sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical and agricultural industries. She was raised in the Northeast (NY and NJ) and moved to North Carolina more than a decade ago.
